Responsibilities:

  • Decide which company current products are most appropriate to meet customer’s needs in conjunction with the Commercial Manager.
  • Decide important and urgency of customer complaints and what company resources need to be directed to a solution.
  • Decide when technical service is required, and identify detail and priority necessary. Arrange these with Technical Service personnel charged with support for the area.

  • Undertake any additional tasks required by company to meet the needs of the organization consistent with the responsibilities of a Account Manager.
  • Report Quarterly on sales and service issues on an exception basis.
  • Ensure all nominated strategic accounts pay to agreed trading terms. All non-conforming terms to be agreed with Commercial Manager.
  • Closely align with the Regional and local Technical Services & Marketing Manager in relation to product development opportunities and equipment/application faults of a highly technical nature.
  • Design and implement presentations and training programs for customers.
  • Obtain, evaluate and process requests for samples. Manage their delivery, purpose, information transfer and feedback from customers.
  • Obtain, evaluate and process forecasts for all nominated strategic accounts to meet the needs of the customers and to form part of the Pre Sales & Operating Plan (Pre S & OP) input.
  • Ensure sales projects are being identified with the customer and entered in the Plan-It Plus (Selling Project System); also that appropriate new technology is introduced as part of the agreed customer strategy in a timely fashion.
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of contract proposals and lead/conduct negotiations aimed at win/win conclusions with advice and consultation from the Commercial Manager. Manage those contracts strictly as negotiated.
  • Control AR and overdue within business target.
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction meets agreed targets, complaint resolution, right first time and invoice accuracy.
  • Update demand forecast every month within target accuracy.
  • Manage own time to fulfill the strategies/plans outlined above. This will involve the evaluation of new and existing products, demonstrating product performance, running trials at customers, general application support and resolution of customer technical complaints.
  • Develop business at the key accounts by helping the customers grow, replacing competitive products and increasing the number of applications or company products used.
  • Maintain an annual Key Account Strategic Action Plan (KASAP) for each Strategic Account.
  • Maintain all core business at the nominated key accounts. Use existing comapny processes or develop new processes to enhance revenue and profit growth of the key accounts. Work with customers to define and extend the areas of mutual benefit
  • Accomplish Business Plan every year

Requirements:

  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Central of Jakarta.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Chemical), Science & Technology or equivalent.
