Responsibilities:
You will provide and enhance Pervasif’s agile solution & rapid implementation of Business Intelligence to our customers. You are excited to work with large, diverse sets of data and allow people to answer complex questions about that data. Work on BI products that speak to dozens of database platforms or data stores, enabling users and enterprises to meet their data and analytical challenges. Leverage your creativity and technical prowess to satisfy customers and extend their ability to see, understand, mine, and work their data - quickly, fruitfully. Who you are... curious, challenged to learn, driven to be creative do things the right way, high sense of quality, take calculated risk.
Requirements: Data Champion. You love data and you’re proud of it! You’re passionate in all things data: excel, relational databases, datawarehouse, data integration, data cleansing, even unstructured data. Experienced. You have at least two years of experience working with data, writing code and strive for elegant solution to your data problems. Detail as well as technical. You have solid development skills with SQL, various scripting (eg. VBA, javascript, python, perl, ruby, etc.) – if you are familiar with MDX, it is okay. Creative and Explorer. Good exposure with statistical, data mining and machine learning concepts, application and construction will be an advantage. Big and bold. Ready to deal with computing and processing very large data set (millions or billions data rows). Relentlessly maintain high standards. You believe in logical and foolproof approach and subject your own works to rigorous tests as a way of maintaining high quality in every deliverables. You love writing things that “just work” – robust, scalable, and reliable. Team Player. You enjoy collaborating, learning from or teaching others so we can all become better consultant.
